Hey everyone! Well, my name is Nathan and I have been recently selected to be the new reporter of jakeepstein.net. So you can get to know me, I will write a little “about me”. I currently live in Ohio, and I am not only an avid Jake Epstein fan, but a Degrassi fan all together. I started to watch Degrassi when I was about 7 or 8 years old from the-N and since then, I have been hooked! One character though really stuck out to me, someone who I could relate to, and that was Craig. I could write more, but it will take up the space. Some of my interests are reading, writing, photography, HTML, and of course being a fan of Jake Epstein. Right now, I am on vacation so you won’t see too many posts of me in this week, but next week take a look of what I have to write. That’s all I have, and I just want to say thanks Keira for giving me these opportunity.

The position for a reporter on the site has been filled. I have chosen Nathan to be our new reporter. You will see some posts from him soon so keep an eye on the the blog.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I was making some changes to the email server today so if anyone emailed me today it did not get through. You likely wouldn’t have gotten any notification of this if you did send anything. The server is working again so any emails that were sent to any email address @jakeepstein.net today, can now be resent.

For those of you who haven’t seen, or even heard of the movie Charlie Bartlett, I recommend that you rent it, purchase it, or borrow it from a friend. It’s kind of an odd movie, but it’s also rather amusing. It’s about a kid, Charlie Bartlett, trying to fit into his new public high school, after being kicked out of multiple private schools. It’s funny, and yet serious at the same time. I just purchased it today and just finished watching it.

If you’re like me, and you have a bit of an obsession with Canadian actors/actresses, then I will tell you that you should definitely go out and purchase this DVD.

Fans of Degrassi: The Next Generation will be please to know that four of your favourite Degrassi stars appear in this movie: Jake Epstein, Lauren Collins, Aubrey Graham, and Ishan Davé. *

Other Canadians I am aware of who appear in Charlie Bartlett are Mark Rendall, Dylan Taylor, Megan Park, Jonathan Malen, Derek McGrath, Stephen Young, Sarah Gadon, Michael D’Ascenzo, and David Fraser. ** That’s close to half of the cast. But, as I said these are Canadians who appeared in the movie. Most of them were only in a couple of scenes.

Anyways, I will try to take some screen caps of Jake from the movie to post in the gallery. I have scanned the DVD and added it to the gallery already because Jake is actually on the from cover of the DVD as you can see in this picture:

I haven’t actually figured out how to take screen caps of DVDs on my iMac, but If I can’t figure it out, I know how to do it on one of my other computers. At this point I don’t know when I will have them posted but I will try to work around my schedule at work to get some done. I have yet to do any screen caps for Degrassi too. That might be longer before I get that done.
