I am very excited about these ones!! They are really old headshots, from Jake’s Zack Files days. I’ve actually been trying to find these for a very long time!! Some of these used to be on Jake’s official website, way back when he had one in the early 2000s, but after his site was taken down I couldn’t find them anywhere. But FINALLY found them!!

Hello Jake Fans!

Just wanted to let you all know of a couple things.

First, we now have a photo gallery moderator (I will be taking down the posting for that position shortly). Her name is Lynn. I haven’t really discussed introducing her to the rest of you yet so I’m not going to say much about her yet. And since Lynn is now the photo gallery moderator, she has helped to find some pictures related to the Degrassi Movie. Some of these images have just been added to the gallery. Make sure to check them out!

Second, I still have not heard back from the person who applied for the reporter position so that position is still open. Apply!!

I hope you all watched Jake in Paradise City: Degrassi Goes Hollywood, the Degrassi Movie, on CTV last night. I’m not sure if it aired in the US or not. It was great. Also, the soundtrack from the movie is in stores now and on iTunes. There are two songs performed by Jake on it.

I missed a few parts because I’m at my grandparents right now and my Grandpa was asking me questions about the software that you can get when you order a new iMac. He has a really old one and he’s looking at getting a new one and since I’m the Mac expert in my family, I get asked all the questions.

Anyways, I’m still don’t have a lot of time for really any of my sites right now. I haven’t moved in to residence yet. We got to Hamilton on Sunday and we’re staying at my grandparents. I move in to residence in Oshawa on Wednesday. Once I’m settled in and get stuff sorted out, including work, I will be able to sit down and get some things organized.

I have gotten one application for a helper for the site and I will probably make a decision in the next few weeks. So if you are interested, please apply now! Thanks.

Exclusive photos of Degrassi cast members in LA shooting scenes for what’s rumoured to be a movie of the week to air Summer 2009…?!?!?

Stacey Farber’s Ellie looks like she’s having a Britney at Venice Beach, except she has her clothes on. Word is they’ve booked a boatload of celebrity cameos – Degrassi, a Canadian show, is actually much more popular in the US. And everywhere outside its home country. Apparently we don’t want to support our own star system?

Degrassi is the highest rated show on The N. So these photos will no doubt stir some fan board speculation about Ellie’s possible breakdown. And Adamo Ruggiero in a wet white tuxedo shirt is also stirring … ugh. Never mind. He’s an infant.

Jake will be appearing in Ross Petty’s production of Cinderella: The Sillylicious Family Musical, November 29, 2008 to January 4, 2009 at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto. The show also features fellow Degrassi star Paula Brancati. For more information about this production visit Ross Petty’s website and check out this short article.

Also, there will apparently be a new Degrassi Mini coming soon, featuring Jake. The N held a contest for viewers to vote for ideas about “What if…”. The winner was Yasmin3121 who wanted a story about “What if… Craig DID marry Ashley?” We will keep you posted on this story. For more information, check out The N’s What If.. Contest Page.

I have one other appearance to tell you about, although its not really “Upcoming” now. Jake appeared in a recent “Live at E-Talk” which was focusing on the career of Linda Schuyler (Co-Creater and Executive Producer of Degrassi: The Next Generation and Instant Star). Jake was in the audience with co-star Lauren Collins. They did a “lightning round” where they asked Linda a few questions mainly about Degrassi and she had to say the first thing that came to mind.

My favourite personal was the first question Jake asked, which was Downtown Sasquatch or The Zit Remedy? Linda couldn’t choose, so she said both. They let her get away with that one. For those of you who don’t know, The Zit Remedy was Joey’s band on the old Degrassi show, and of course Downtown Sasquatch was Craig’s band.

Jake appeared on tonight’s episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation: Bust a Move, Part 2. Along with his band, Funkasaurus Rex (in real life as well as on the show), and ex-girlfriend Ashley Kerwin (Melissa McIntyre) Craig Manning (Jake) performed the song “My Window”. The song is on Craig’s album (on the show; its not a real album) and was apparently written by Ashley (according to an earlier episode: It’s Tricky). Craig apparently used it on his album without crediting giving any credit to Ashley.
